WCI Inmate Found Guilty Of Severe Beating Of Another Inmate

A Waupun Correctional inmate has been found guilty of the severe beating of another inmate. A Dodge County jury Tuesday found 28-year-old Sir Jordan Cosby guilty of battery by prisoners and substantial battery charges stemming from the June 7th, 2017 incident. Jordan and another inmate attacked a third inmate leaving the victim bloody, unconscious, and with severe trauma to his head and face. As prison staff intervened one of the attackers shouted, “That’s for my brother.” District Attorney Kurt Klomberg credited the guards for their efforts to protect the victim. Cosby faces the possibility of having up to 17.5 years added to his current prison term. He will be sentenced on November 8th.
