Update:

Six people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision involving five passenger cars and a semi-truck on I-41 in Fond du Lac County’s Town of Eldorado Saturday afternoon. Sheriff’s officials say the State Patrol had a vehicle pulled over in the southbound lane and vehicles were merging from the slow lane to the fast lane when a semi struck a vehicle from behind starting a chain reaction accident. Two of the vehicles ended up on their roofs and another became entangled in the guidewire of the median. Thirty-five-year-old Christopher Cummings and 34-year-old Courtney Cummings from Oshkosh were taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries. Thirty-five-year-old Andrew Conrad and 36-year-old Emily Conrad from Oshkosh in another vehicle were taken to Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh with minor injuries. Sixty-three-old-year-old Sandra Hartley and a 7-year-old boy from Kewaskum in another vehicle were taken to Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh with minor injuries. The semi was hauling 30,000 pounds of groceries. The 53-year-old Green Bay man driving it, Kevin Jones, was not hurt. The accident north of Townline Road was reported just before 4:30 pm.
