Injury Accident In Town Of Winneconne

One person was seriously injured in a two vehicle accident at the intersection of State Highway 116 and Winnebago County Highway M in the Town of Winneconne Friday evening. Sheriff’s officials say two vehicles were heading east when one stopped at the intersection to make a turn and the trailing vehicle rear ended it. The driver in the second vehicle was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center. Investigators say alcohol was a factor in the crash, which was reported at 6:45 Friday night. Names were not released.
