Thunderstorms brought pea-sized to penny-sized hail and strong winds to the area yesterday afternoon. Winds speeds were reported from 50 to 60 miles an hour or higher downing trees, branches and some power lines. In Oshkosh Country U.S.A. crowds were evacuated during Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and the warnings also changed a few plans for those attending Waterfest. Two boaters on Big Green Lake were also rescued during the storms. A second round of storms fired up early this morning.
