Breakfast On The Farm Sunday

An Eden family will host Fond du Lac County’s annual Breakfast on the Farm this Sunday. It’s from 8 am to Noon at the Loehr Farm at W1851 Mushroom Road in Eden. Amy Ries is the Director of Agricultural Programs for Envision Greater Fond du Lac. She says the farm has been in the family for six generations. “It’s the boys, Mom, Dad, but uncles help and Grandpa helps and they have some full-time employees. But together that feeling of family working together you can tell they are just passionate about it.” They manage about 500 head of cattle. There will be shuttle bus service out to and from the farm starting at 7:50 am. Those locations are at Aurora Health Center on Highway 23 East in Fond du Lac and Baker Cheese on County Highway G in St. Cloud. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 the day of. Kids 5 and under will be admitted free. Tickets are available at the Envision Offices in Fond du Lac and at most area banks. Handicap parking will be available at the farm.
