Fatal House Fire In FDL

Fire Department officials in Fond du Lac now say a woman taken to the hospital after a house fire Sunday afternoon has died. Firefighters responded to a fire at a home at 29 Woods Place. The woman was taken to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, but died after arriving. No one else was injured in the blaze. When fire crews arrived there was heavy smoke coming from the first floor. The fire was quickly located and extinguished, but not before it caused “substantial damage.” The cause of the fire was ruled “undetermined.”
