The Ripon Area School District is looking for its next Director of Innovation and Technology. Mandy Froehlich resigned her position as Director of Innovation and Technology effective June 30th. She will be pursuing full-time writing, speaking and consulting work. Froehlich, previously a Technology Integrator in the Oshkosh Area School District, joined Ripon in July 2015, replacing Troy Seyfert who took a similar position in Monona Grove. In her resignation letter, Froehlich thanked the school board for the opportunity of serving the students and taxpayers of Ripon adding “I have always said that the strength of Ripon comes from the commitment of the people here.” Ripon Schools Superintendent Mary Whitrock says, “I appreciate Mandy giving the district plenty of notice to allow us the opportunity to start looking now for her replacement.” The district has established a timeline to look for Froehlich’s successor and has posted the position.
