Berlin Police Advise About Scams

Berlin Police are warning residents about a couple of scams they recently became aware of. One involves a fake letter from Walmart accompanied by a check. The letter is about a “Secret Retail Research Paid Survey.” Berlin Police talked with Walmart officials who say it is not a legitimate offer. The second scam is about an online care service that tries to scam people willing to provide care, such as CNA or a day care.
