Congressman Glenn Grothman is calling for the public release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report to the Department of Justice. He says $25 million was spent on the independent investigation and he feels the collusion charges were completely unfounded. Grothman notes the key takeaway of Mueller’s non-partisan report being ‘President Trump did not collude with Russia in the 2016 election’ confirms that. The federal lawmaker from Glenbeulah says there is only one thing left to do, release the report to the public. He also believes the matter should be to rest.

A $90,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will help a renovation project in downtown Fond du Lac. Fond du Lac businessman Sam Meyer is hoping to turn the vacant building at 18 East Division Street into Livery Lofts. It would feature an upscale tavern on the first floor and have residential lofts on the second floor. Built in 1880 the building once housed a livery stable. The property is near the Hotel Retlaw, which is also a historic property that has been redeveloped. Meyer owns several buildings in downtown Fond du Lac and is a former city councilman and county board supervisor.
