Names Released In Fatal Green Lake County Traffic Accident

Green Lake County Sheriff’s officials have released the names of those involved in a fatal pickup truck versus garbage truck crash east of Green Lake Monday morning. Twenty-seven-year-old Scott Cooper of Ludington, Michigan was driving the pickup truck that crossed the center line on County Highway A hitting the refuse truck nearly head on. He died later at a trauma center in the Fox Valley. His passenger, 34-year-old Darrick Magee of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and the garbage truck driver 44-year-old Bradley Burkhardt of Beaver Dam were not injured. The accident was the county’s first fatal traffic accident since 2016.
