Volunteers Needed In FDL Flood Clean Up Efforts

16 March 2019 News

Fond du Lac County Emergency Management, Health Department and United Way are asking for volunteers to assist in the clean-up efforts and to assist with other needs of our community as we work to recover from last week’s flooding and the continued effects of it. A United Way Volunteer Reception Center is being set up at the Pilgrim United Church of Christ located at 535 Stow Street in the City of Fond du Lac to register and assign volunteers to assist throughout the county, with the majority of the assistance needed in the City of Fond du Lac. The Volunteer Reception Center will be open Sunday, March 17th from 12 pm noon until 5 pm. Volunteers should park in the main parking lot and enter the front door to begin the registration process. Volunteers should bring a form of identification as well as have appropriate cold and wet weather clothing.

Call United Way at 920-979-7313 with any questions.
