Road Rage Incident In Berlin Nearly Turns Deadly

15 March 2019 News

A 64-year-old Green Lake man is facing charges for a “Road Rage” incident in Berlin Wednesday morning. It happened at the intersection of Mound and Franklin Streets. Berlin Police Chief Dennis Plantz says two drivers had a physical altercation in the roadway. The Green Lake man pulled out a 9 millimeter pistol. The unarmed driver started to retreat when he was hit in the back of the head with the pistol. The Green Lake man was arrested and was taken to the Green Lake County Jail. Charges have been filed with the District Attorney’s Office. Chief Plantz says, “It is unfortunate that an incident such as this had to take place, but should serve as a stern reminder that these types of incidents such as this can have unimaginable consequences.”
