School Board Candidate Forum Tonight In Ripon

The League of Women Voters of the Ripon Area is hosting a Candidate’s Forum featuring the four people running for the Ripon Area School District Board of Education. The forum is tonight at 6:30 pm at the Ripon City Hall Council Chambers. All four candidates have agreed to participate: Margaret “Betsy” Heffernan, Gary Rodman, Nathan Zimdars and Daniel Zimmerman. There are three open positions on the Ripon School Board. Ellen Sorensen of the League invites people to attend the forum. “Absolutely come down because even if you don’t have questions it is important to listen to how the candidates answer the questions to determine who you want to vote for.” The event is being taped and will be broadcast on the Ripon Channel.
