FDL County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Vehicle And Driver

7 March 2019 News

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public to help them identify a pickup truck and driver that fled after a deputy tried to pull it over Wednesday morning in Eden. It happened in the area of County Highways B and V. The dark-colored Toyota Tacoma went north on County Highway V. The deputy cut off pursuit when the truck reached the Fond du Lac city limits at County Highway V and Highway 151. Sheriff’s Captain Bill Tadych says they cut off the chase because of the possible danger to the public. “The chase went about 5 miles and it was just approaching the Fond du Lac city limits when one of our supervisors terminated the chase because of safety concerns.” The truck was last seen heading east on Pioneer Road from County Highway V. There were no license plates on the pickup, which was driven by a younger male. The Sheriff’s Department released a photo of the vehicle. Anyone that recognizes it is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Dispatch Center at 920-929-3390. You can also report information anonymously by calling the tip line at 920-906-4777.
