3 March 2019 News

Natural Resource Conservation Service defines soil “as a living, life-giving natural resource.  As world population and food production demands rise, keeping our soil healthy and productive is of paramount importance.”  By farming using soil health best management practices and systems, we can improve soil health and increase productivity and profitability while protecting our water resources.

The newly formed Fond du Lac County Farmers Soil Health Group will be hosting “Cover Crops, Carbon & Conservation:  A Session on Soil Health” to provide resources on managing soil health.
