Congressman Grothman On Cohen Testimony
1 March 2019 News
Congressman Glenn Grothman is one of the members of the House Oversight and Reform Committee who got to question former Presidential fixer Michael Cohen Wednesday. The federal lawmaker from Glenbeulah says Cohen is untrustworthy and has used his supposed relationship with Donald Trump to enrich himself. Grothman says he asked Cohen after his testimony if he was trying to get his prison sentence reduced. “Right now he is looking at three years in prison he’s going to ask for a reduction in sentence. He also admitted, someday, he might try to get a book deal might try to get a movie deal. So he’s got every reason for his own self promotion.” Grothman says the hearing was an opportunity for the committee to ask Cohen about his lies, tax evasion, and shady deals.
