Fond du Lac Man Sentenced To Over 200 Years In Prison

A Fond du Lac County judge Friday sentenced a 36-year-old Fond du Lac man to 203 years in prison and 62 years of extended supervision for the sexual assault of multiple children. James Rasmussen was convicted of 44 counts relating to the sexual assault of multiple children and delivering drugs to children during a jury trial last November. During the sentencing Judge Robert Wirtz said Rasmussen’s “behavior was monstrous, narcissistic, and predatory” and that Rasmussen was a denier and categorically remorseless.
