Cold Start
25 January 2019 News
Temperatures started out this morning below zero with wind chills as expected in the 20 to 30 below zero range or even lower. Coupled with stronger winds drivers should be aware of drifting snow on rural roads and in open areas. A wind chill advisory is in effect until noon today, but meteorologists are now saying that could be extended. Bitter cold temperatures could be with us into late next week with more snow on Sunday and Monday. Some of the wind chill factors reported early this morning included -24 in Berlin, -25 in Fond du Lac, -20 in Oshkosh, -20 in Ripon, and -27 in Wautoma.
