Cable Negotiations Stalemate

3 January 2019 News

Spectrum cable customers have become pawns in a contract dispute between the cable provider owned by Charter Communications and Tribune Broadcasting. Both sides are urging Spectrum customers to contact the other side in a stalemate in contract negotiations. Tribune Broadcasting owner of WGN America pulled the channel from Spectrum’s offerings Wednesday afternoon. Spectrum is carrying an announcement on the channels where WGN was saying they have been fair in their negotiations with Tribune Broadcasting, but Tribune is asking for an increase three times the rate Spectrum was paying.
