28 December 2018 News

The 20-year-old Ripon man described by one customer as the most well known heroin dealer in the city has been bound over for trial. Owen Nordvold waived his preliminary hearing in Fond du Lac County court Thursday. He’s facing drug trafficking and other charges stemming from a drug bust at his apartment at 115 East Jackson Street on December 13th. According to the criminal complaint one of his customers told police Nordvold sells heroin to 20 to 30 people in the city. Skylar Smerling, the 21-year-old Ripon woman who was arrested during the same drug bust, has her preliminary hearing on possession and bail jumping charges on January 24th. During a search of Nordvold’s apartment police found heroin, marijuana, Adderall, Narcan, a variety of pills, drug packaging and paraphernalia, and cash.
