The Packers head into Sunday night’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium with a 4-5-1 record.

But the Packers playoff hopes are still very much alive. Green Bay is one game out of the wildcard chase behind the Carolina Panthers (6-4) and the Vikings (5-4-1).

Plus the Packers have the easiest remaining schedule among the NFC North teams. Green Bay final six games have a winning percentage of 41.67 (25-34-1 record).

Since the team’s week 7 bye, the Packers are 1-4 with two losses within three points.

Meanwhile on the injury front, head coach Mike McCarthy told the media Monday that tight end Jimmy Graham plans to play against the Minnesota Vikings. Graham broke his thumb in the first half against the Seattle Seahawks while blocking. McCarthy added that Graham plans to try on different splints during practice this week.

Defensive tackle Mike Daniels will be out for a couple of weeks after he injured his foot against the Seahawks. McCarthy said he has been in contact with Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst regarding the possibility of adding a defensive lineman while Daniels recovers.

Cornerback Kevin King and receiver Randall Cobb have both missed the past two games with hamstring injuries and both said Monday they hope to play against the Vikings on Sunday night football.

In Monday Night Football, records were set in Los Angeles as the Rams outlasted the Kansas City Chiefs 54-51. It was the highest scoring game in the history of Monday Night Football and third highest in league history. Jared Goff threw for 413 yards and four touchdowns for the Rams, now 10-1. His counterpart, Patrick Mahomes threw for 478 yards and six scores as Kansas City dropped to 9-2.

In the NBA, Milwaukee won at home over Portland 104-98. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Bucks with 29 points, 12 rebounds and six assists and Eric Bledsoe chipped in with 23.
