Russell Wilson threw for 225 yards and his 15-yard touchdown pass to Ed Dickson with 5:08 left was the difference in the Seattle Seahawks’ 27-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.

It was a career night for wide receiver Davante Adams, and another multiple touchdown game for running back Aaron Jones… but it still was not enough.

In a key matchup in the race for the two NFC wild-card spots, Seattle (5-5) snapped a two-game losing streak by overcoming an early 14-3 deficit. Green Bay was looking for its first road win of the season in Seattle. It was the team’s first appearance at Centurylink since January 2015.

Seattle still has not lost three straight games since the middle of the 2011 season.

The game started out well for the Packers as Clay Matthews made a huge play on the first snap from scrimmage, forcing a fumble that Tramon Williams recovered and the Packers turned that into points. Later on in the firs quarter, Aaron Rodgers hooked up with tight end Robert Tonyan on a 54 yard touchdown. It was Tonyan’s first NFL catch.

Rodgers threw for 332 yards and Jones scored a touchdown on the ground and through the air as the two teams battled it out. The Packers drop to 4-5-1 and travel to Minnesota for their next game in 10 days.

The Ledgers moved ahead on a Marcus Orlandoni touchdown that capped off a 13-play, 72-yard drive in the 4th. St. Mary’s Springs was a Division 6 team when it won its 7th title last year.
