Ripon Sending Out RFP For Former American House Property

Ripon’s Common Council Tuesday night approved a Request for Proposals or RFP for the city-owned building at 230 Watson Street. Mayor Gary Will told the Council he had done a preliminary walk through with someone at the former American House last Friday. City officials and Ripon Mainstreet Manager Craig Tebon have been working on RFPs for a couple of city-owned properties downtown including the former American House since this summer. The City hopes to get interest on the RFP before the end of next month, but could extend that deadline to February 28th for interested developers.
