Fatal Accident In Dodge County

Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say a 38-year-old Madison man who rolled his vehicle over on State Highway 16/60 near Oxbow Road Sunday morning died after being taken to the UW Hospital in Madison. The man was eastbound on the highway in the Town of Elba and left it on a curve. His vehicle struck a culvert and began to roll. He had to be extricated from it and was taken to UW Hospital in Madison where he died. Speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash. Deputies, Columbus Police, Fire and EMS responded to the scene. The accident was reported shortly before 7 am.
