Fire Destroys Detached Garage And Living Quarters In The Town Of Friendship

Fire destroyed a four-car detached garage in the Town of Friendship Wednesday afternoon. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say all the occupants of the residence at N9571 Townline Road were uninjured and accounted for. The garage contained a living quarters and a personal vehicle. It was a total loss. The preliminary investigation shows a heat lamp and electronic box malfunction likely started the blaze. Ten fire departments fought the fire, which was reported at 1:31 pm.
