28 November 2018 News

The 36-year-old Oshkosh man suspected of stabbing a man and a woman outside of bar in July has pleaded no contest to a pair of first degree reckless injury charges. Jesse McComb entered the pleas in Winnebago County Court Monday to the charges, which as part of a plea bargain were reduced from attempted homicide charges. According to the criminal complaint McComb stabbed the two after a man refused to sell him a cigarette. McComb stabbed the male victim three times, and the woman twice. A pre-sentence investigation was ordered. Sentencing is scheduled for January 29th.
