Two people were injured in a fire that broke out in apartments above a business at 145 High Avenue in Oshkosh early Saturday morning. Oshkosh Police say the second floor was smoke filled and flames were visible when officers arrived. One person suffered 2nd degree burns and another smoke inhalation. Both were taken to a local hospital. Fire Department officials say firefighters didn’t spend much time in the building because the ceiling began to collapse. The cause of the fire is being investigated, but investigators do not consider it suspicious. The business is High Image Salon and there are six apartments located above it.
