FDL Shooting Suspect Charged

The 18-year-old Fond du Lac man who accidentally shot another teen while cleaning his AK-47 assault rifle has been charged with first degree recklessly endangering safety. Trenton Hammarlund also faces a marijuana possession charge and four misdemeanor charges for the October 20th incident. While responding to the incident police also found containers of marijuana, over 100 prescription pills, and more than $7,000 in cash. Bond was set at $7,500 cash and Hammarlund will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on December 13th.
