Ripon College A Bargain
Ripon College President Zach Messitte feels students at the school are getting their money’s worth. He says you have to look beyond sticker price at the value of the education. “The price that you pay to go to Ripon is very competitive with what you pay to go to a UW system school very close ultimately in terms of out-of-pocket costs.”
He notes they have a guarantee UW system schools don’t and that is that if you don’t graduate in eight semesters the ninth semester is free. Messittee also points out that the graduation rate for UW schools in the area is below 25 percent while the rate for Ripon College is well above 70 percent.
