Malone Man Killed In FDL County Crash

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials have released the name of the 55-year-old Malone man that was killed in single vehicle accident on County Highway Q west of County Highway QQ in the Town of Taycheedah Monday morning. Roy Hunkins was heading west and failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle struck a power pole and a tree. Hunkins was found dead inside the vehicle. He was the loan occupant. Also responding to the scene were Town of Calumet Fire Department, Town of Calumet First Responders, Mt. Calvary Ambulance, and the County Medical Examiners Officer. Deputies responded to the call shortly after 5:30 am.
