Town Of Alto Barn Fire

Fire destroyed a barn in the Town of Alto Sunday afternoon. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say their dispatch center got a call just before 3 pm. When firefighters arrived the barn at N3562 Highway 49 was fully engulfed in flames. The barn was located near some outbuildings and a home. Nine fire departments responded to the blaze. The 35 by 50 foot barn is considered a total loss. No animals were lost in the fire and no injuries were reported. the property owner, Jonathan Cunningham, that he was having brush burned and the barn ignited.
