Milwaukee Woman Sentenced For Lomira Robbery
Nearly a year after a Milwaukee woman helped rob a driver at gunpoint at the Exxon Gas Station on I-41 in Lomira that Milwaukee woman has been sentenced to prison. Ladaja Denise Hister will spend 10 years in prison and 5 years on extended supervision. She was sentenced Thursday in Dodge County Court. Hister and two others robbed the woman on October 17th, 2017. They were caught with a firearm and the victim’s cellphone in their vehicle.
Beaver Dam Man Facing Escape And Possession Charges
A Dodge County judge set bond at $15,000 cash for a 34-year-old Beaver Dam man who tried to run from police after a traffic stop last Sunday. Gregory Quinn took off running when an officer tried to search him, but fell in the front yard of a nearby home. He had heroin on him. In addition to possession and escape charges he’s also facing a disorderly conduct charge for a domestic incident. He has a preliminary hearing on Thursday.
Flags At Half Staff For Firefighters Memorial Day
Flags are flying at half staff today in honor of Wisconsin Firefighters Memorial Day. Governor Walker issued the executive order earlier this week. He says, “This year we lost three brave firefighters in the line of duty, Cory Barr, Richard Garner Jr., and Philip Neubich Sr. We will always remember their heroism and sacrifice, along with every firefighter who has given their life in service to the people of Wisconsin.“ Today is the last day of National Fire Prevention Week.
