Two Dead In Motorcycle Collision With Farm Tractor In FDL County

Two Chilton residents died after they struck a farm tractor with their motorcycle as the tractor was turning into a field off Highway 151 in the Town of Taycheedah Saturday night. Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say 49-year-old Carl Serwe and 47-year-old Darci Lu Atkins were on the bike and Serwe was driving it. He died at the scene. Atkins was thrown from it. Theda Star helicopter flew her to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah where she died. The 36-year-old Plymouth man operating the tractor, Michael Wytkowski, was not injured. The accident happened about 6:22 Saturday evening on Highway 151 about six-tenths of a mile north of County Highway WH.
