High Speed Chase In FDL And Dodge Counties

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies were involved in a high-speed chase early Saturday morning on Highways 26 and 151 in Fond du Lac and Dodge counties that covered 20 miles. Two Beaver Dam men were driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen from Madison. A 21-year-old Beaver Dam man driving the vehicle pulled over on Highway 26 in the Town of Springvale and exited the car, but a second occupant a 20-year-old Beaver Dam man got behind the wheel and took off. Speeds reached up to 130 miles per hour. Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies put down a tire deflation device on Highway 151at County Highway A that ended the vehicle chase and led to a short foot chase during which the second suspect was taken into custody. The 21-year-old man was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension. The 20-year-old is facing felony fleeing, operating while impaired, operating after revocation, reckless driving, possession of THC, and speeding charges. The pursuit started just before 2 am Saturday morning.
