Green Lake County Board Delays Vote On Countywide Ambulance Feasibility Study

23 August 2018 News

The Green Lake County Board of Supervisors didn’t get a chance this week to consider approving a countywide ambulance feasibility study. County Clerk Liz Otto says the Southern Green Lake County Ambulance Committee meets next Monday night and asked that a vote be delayed until they have a chance to give it more consideration themselves. That Markesan-based service, and ambulance services in Berlin and Princeton are the three ambulance services serving the County. Otto says supervisors did approve placing an advisory referendum before votes in November that will ask them if they would like the state legislature to consider doing away with the “Dark Store” loophole, which gives businesses a break on property taxes while shifting that burden to other property taxpayers.
