5/5/25 Summer Market Returns to Green Lake’s Town Square

5 May 2025 News

GREEN LAKE, WI, May 5, 2025 — The beloved Summer Market is back at Town Square, bringing fresh flavors, handmade goods, and community spirit to the heart of Green Lake. Starting May 23, residents and visitors can stroll the market every Friday from 3–6 p.m. through August 29, discovering everything from farm-fresh vegetables and flowers to homemade cookies, granola, crafts, and more.

“We’re especially excited about the new vendors joining us this year,” said Jina Quade, Event Coordinator at Town Square. “With even more fresh treats and locally made products, it’s going to be a great summer.”

New this year, Town Square is expanding its Youth Entrepreneur Program, inviting local kids and teens to run their own booths at reduced rates. These young vendors will showcase everything from original artwork and crafts to baked goods and handmade accessories—giving them hands-on business experience and a chance to be part of the local economy. “It’s one of our favorite additions,” said Quade. “The creativity and confidence these kids bring to the market is inspiring.”

But the fun doesn’t stop there. This year, Town Square and the Green Lake Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host South Street Summer Markets during the popular Concerts in the Park series. These special Wednesday evening markets will take place from 5–7 p.m. on June 18, July 2, and August 20 along South Street by Deacon Mills Park—offering a perfect pairing of live music and local shopping.

Located at 492 Hill Street, Town Square Community Center is more than just a venue—it’s the heart of Green Lake. As an award-winning nonprofit run by Green Lake Renewal, Inc., Town Square is committed to bringing people together through cultural, social, recreational, and educational experiences, all while preserving the town’s historic courthouse building.
