Search Resumes For Missing Boaters On Lake Winnebago

Dive teams Sunday night recovered the bodies of two Neenah women killed in a collision between two boats on Lake Winnebago. The collision happened about a mile east of Paynes Point Saturday night. The bodies of the 20 and 26-year-old women were recovered shortly after 8:30 Sunday evening. A dog also perished in the collision. Four others were injured in the collision.

Dive teams are looking for two women ejected from a boat on Lake Winnebago when two boats collided about a mile east of Paynes Point Saturday night. Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials say the 20 and 26-year-old women from Neenah and a dog were thrown from their 20-foot Rinker Captiva boat due to the force of the collision. Two others in their boat were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Two occupants in the other boat, a 26-foot Crownline, were treated on shore. The accident was reported at 8:38 Saturday evening.
