GREEN LAKE, WI — Have you always wanted to try painting but didn’t know where to start? This summer, Art MidWisconsin invites you to explore your creativity with hands-on painting workshops for both beginners and experienced artists. All classes will be held at the Town Square Community Center in Green Lake and are led by talented local artists from the Art MidWisconsin collective.
Participants can choose from two introductory workshops designed to provide a fun, approachable entry into the world of painting. Each session offers an engaging overview of painting techniques—and everyone leaves with a completed piece of artwork. No experience is needed—just a desire to create!
May Workshop Schedule:
- May 7 – Intro to Painting with Oils with Angel Rettler
- May 16 – Intro to Painting with Acrylics with Elissa Ewald
Angel Rettler (pictured above), owner and instructor at Artsy Fartsy, brings over a decade of experience in sharing her passion for painting. Her warm, encouraging teaching style has helped students of all levels discover their artistic voice.
Elissa Ewald (above) is an award-winning, self-taught artist whose work has been featured in regional shows and publications. With three years of teaching experience, her mission is simple: “To inspire others to love art.”
