3/29/25 Four Injured in Collision Between Horse Drawn Buggy and Vehicle

Four people were injured in a crash involving a horse drawn buggy and vehicle in Waupaca County’s Town of Dupont Thursday evening. The accident happened around 7 pm on County Highway C near Sprenger Road. The 49-year-old woman operating the buggy was flown to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah with life-threatening injuries. The 3 and 11-year-old children who were her passengers were taken to ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano with non-life-threatening injuries. The 34-year-old man driving the vehicle suffered minor injuries. Sheriff’s deputies were assisted by Marion Police, the State Patrol, Marion Fire Department, Marion Ambulance, Manawa Ambulance, and ThedaStar helicopter.
