Ripon National Night Out Next Tuesday

Ripon’s second annual National Night Out celebration is only a week away. Funding from an anonymous donor made last year’s event possible, and generous community members stepped forward to donate funds for next Tuesday night’s National Night Out at Barlow Park. Police Officer Lindsey Michels says there will be plenty for residents and kids to see and do. Food will be free while it lasts. Police, Ripon Area Fire District, and Ripon Guardian Ambulance will display their vehicles and have activities for the kids. K9 Officer Trevor Hanke and K9 Rony will give a demonstration at 5:15 pm. Flight for Life will be there at 5:45. There is also a demonstration with a drone at 6:30. Michels says it is all about building a trusting rapport with the community. She says Kwik Trip is even donating doughnuts for a doughnut decorating contest. Hours for Ripon’s National Night Out are 5 to 7 pm at Barlow Park.
