3/7/25 Ripon Man Suspected of Possessing Child Pornography

As a result of a tip and a subsequent investigation a 38-year-old Ripon man was arrested and booked into the Dodge County Jail on possession of child pornography charges. Alan Douglas made his initial court appearance Monday on 10 counts of possession of child pornography and bond was set at $3,000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Thursday. Charges brought against Douglas stem from a tip the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children which sparked an Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation. The Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigations Digital Forensics Unit. (Dodge County Jail photo).
