The Bucks return to the court tonight on their road trip playing the San Antonio Spurs. Milwaukee will try to bounce back from a 125-112 loss at Portland to the Trail Blazers Tuesday night.

The Bucks (26-19) are fourth in the Eastern Conference. The Spurs (20-24) are 12th in the Western Conference.

Tipoff is at 7:00.

In NBA G-League action tonight the Wisconsin Herd hosts the Delaware Blue Coats at the Oshkosh Arena. The Herd beat the Blue Coats 128-114 Wednesday night. Tipoff is at 7:00.

The Badgers are back in action Saturday at Northwestern 12-9, 3-7) . #17 Wisconsin is coming off a 76-68 loss at Maryland Wednesday night.

The Terrapins (17-5, 7-4 Big Ten) trailed 48-43 in the second half before taking the lead for good with a 14-2 run.

Wisconsin (16-5, 6-4) has lost two of three following a seven-game winning streak. The Badgers, who entered the game shooting 85% on free throws — on pace for a Division I record — shot just 15 of 21 from the line Wednesday night. John Tonje led Wisconsin with 23 points against Maryland.

Also Saturday, Ripon College at Cornell College with the tipoff at 3:00.

In Women’s College Hoops Saturday Ripon College (14-4. 8-1) is at Cornell College with the tipoff at 1:00.

The NFL Pro Bowl Flag Football game and other skills start Sunday and run from 2-5 pm CT.  Other skills games got underway on Thursday.

Girls: 

In girls basketball Thursday night, Ripon defeated Berlin 38-33 in East Central Conference action. The win avenges a 47-28 loss to Berlin last December.  The game went almost six minutes before anyone scored. Ripon led 16-15 at the half.  Bryn Carlson and Adalin Nofolff led the Tigers with 12 points and Reese Brooks added 9. Becca Bartol led Berlin with 11. The Tigers held the Indians Callie Kurczek to 10 points, nearly 8 points below her season average. The Tigers won their third game in the last four.

Ripon also won the JV game 38-31.

Four former Fond du Lac Dock Spiders were honored with Minor League Baseball (MiLB) Awards following the 2024 season.

Chandler Simpson (2021) was selected to the All-MiLB Team (2nd Team) and was named a Double-A All-Star. Caleb Durbin (2020-21) earned Arizona Fall League Breakout Player of the Year honors and was named to the Arizona Fall League All-Star Team. Kemp Alderman (2022) was selected to the Arizona Fall League All-Star Team and Ryan Ignoffo (2021) was named a Low-A All-Star.
