Seinfeld Writer Recaptures The Wonder Bread Year At The Thrasher Opera House
29 June 2018 News
Veteran stand-up comic and former Seinfeld writer Pat Hazell will put on a nostalgic one-man show at the Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake this weekend. He describes it as a flash back to the Baby Boomer era that will leave you laughing and savoring the past. Hazell says he uses multi-media clips to jog memories and show younger audiences what they missed out on. He says he treasures his time on Seinfeld, but being a writer needed another outlet to continue his brand of humor. He says, “So the Wonder Bread Years really was the best of things that I was already doing on The Tonight Show as a stand-up comedian and other things. And I realized that I really liked reflecting and I really liked retro stuff.” Performances are 7:30 Saturday night and 3:00 Sunday afternoon. Tickets are $25 and are available at the Thrasher office, Horicon Bank in Green Lake; Webster’s Marketplace and Ripon Drug in Ripon; Twister in Princeton; or by calling the Thrasher office at 920.294.4279. Tickets are also available at the Thrasher website.
