12/6/24 Highway 26 Fatal Accident Update

The State Patrol has released the name of the 59-year-old Waupun man killed near Ripon early Thursday morning when his van collided with a semi-tractor trailer truck on State Highway 26 at Hickory Road. Paul Moore died at the scene. Twenty-nine-year-old Raj, Kumar of Merced, California was driving the semi. He was heading north when he crossed over the centerline and struck the southbound van. The accident happened at 3:30 Thursday morning. Assisting agencies included the Fond du Lac and Winnebago County Sheriff’s Offices, Town of Ripon Police, and Fond du Lac and Winnebago County Highway Departments.
