Art & Craft Supply Swap at Princeton Library
Friday Nov. 15th from noon to 5pm and Saturday Nov. 16th from 9am - 1pm
Let's clean out our closets and trade! Maybe you've given up knitting but want to paint. Or you'd love to try candy making, and are bored with your fondant tools. Let's swap!
Bring in your art and craft supplies, and you'll get a voucher allowing you to shop for items.
All items will be FREE after noon on Saturday.
We will be contributing many items from our own over-stuffed storage space!
Don't have anything to trade? Small cash donations are OK too.

Christmas in Princeton at the Library Friday Nov. 29th, 4-6pm
Along with the whole community, we are celebrating Christmas in Princeton this weekend! The library will be open extended hours today (9am to at least 7pm).

Drop your kids off to watch a holiday movie, have a snack, play games, and do a craft. Recommended age: 8 +
Movie: The Nutcracker and the Four Realms (rated PG)
Crafts: Painting wooden ornaments and decorating foam gingerbread men, snowflakes and angels.
Snacks: Chips, popcorn, milk and cookies, apple slices with caramel dip.
Games will include giant Bananagrams, giant Jenga, giant Connect 4, and reindeer antler ring toss.
At 6pm, the holiday lights parade will pass by the library. Look for the Friends of the Library walking in the parade!
After the parade, we will also be holding our annual children's book giveaway. One new or gently used book will be given to each child until supplies are gone. To ensure we have enough to go around, we would love to have donations of gently-used and new children's books in the weeks before the 29th.
The Chamber of Commerce will be serving cookies and hot cocoa outside the library after the parade as well, and just across the street there will be a tree lighting ceremony and caroling.

- Festival of Trees, Silent Auction, Holiday Bake Sale and Second-Hand Item Sale at Community Hall in City Park 1pm-8pm
- Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Historical Society's Folklore Museum (630 W. Water St.) 3:30pm - 5:30pm
- Crafts, snacks, and games at the public library (424 W. Water St.) from 4-7pm, followed by a children's book giveaway.
- Holiday lights parade on west Water Street at 6:30pm. The parade starts at the National Exchange bank and ends at the library. This year's theme is "Candyland."
- Caroling, tree lighting, hot cocoa and cookies provided at the end of the parade across from the library by the Princeton Chamber of Commerce

Donations of baked goods are gratefully accepted up to three days before the sale. Thank you!

Winter Break Crafternoons at the Princeton Library
From December 23rd through the 30th, during school's winter break, families and individuals can join us every afternoon and evening for crafts!
Drop in on any afternoon/evening. No charge. All ages are welcome!
Mon. Dec. 23rd, noon-6:30pm: Paint a wooden ornament

Thurs. Dec. 26th, noon-6:30pm : Make a fun snowflake with popsicle stickers, glitter, gems, stickers, etc.
Fri. Dec. 27th, noon-4:30pm: Make a no-sew cloth snowman and dress it up!
Sat. Dec. 28th, 10am-1pm: Make a gorgeous sun catcher with "stained glass" tissue paper.
Mon. Dec. 30th, noon-6:30pm: Art Buffet
