11/7/24 Fatal Accident in Winnebago County

Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials tell us one of the drivers involved in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 21 and Leonard Point Road Wednesday morning was killed. That person died at the scene of the accident in the Town of Algoma. The driver of the second vehicle was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. Deputies, and Town of Algoma and Oshkosh Fire Departments responded to the scene shortly before 6 am. State Highway 21 was closed for 4 ½ hours during the investigation and clean up. Names were not released.
