10/15/24 Update on Winnebago County Death Investigation

Winnebago County Sheriff’s officials say the two dead men found at a home in the 7000 block of Quigley Road in the Town of Poygan Sunday evening were a father and son. A 911 caller reported finding their bodies to the County Communications Center at 5:36 pm. Deputies and first responders responded to the home and found the bodies of 61-year-old Richard Davis and 26-year-old Alexander Davis. The two had been living together in the home. The Sheriff’s Office says it is an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
