10/12/24 Fire Destroys Harvester in Town of Eldorado

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s officials say fire destroyed a harvester in a field in Town of Eldorado Friday night. A neighbor near W8664 West Lone Elm Road called 911 to report the fire. A deputy arrived on the scene and observed the John Deer Harvester fully engulfed. The Eldorado Fire Department and First Responders, along with Van Dyne Fire Department and North Fond du Lac Ambulance responded to the scene as well. The blaze destroyed the harvester, and there was minor damage to a John Deere tractor parked nearby. The fire is not considered suspicious. No one was injured. The time of the fire call was 8:48 pm.
