Ripon 26, Mauston 6 The Tigers erupted for 26 points in the second half including three touchdowns in the 3rd quarter Golden Eagles and snap a 15 game losing streak, that spanned all of last season and the first six games this year.
Ripon’s Parker Stellmacherr rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns, including at 63-yarder and Eric Cumber took it in from 3 yards out as the Tigers scored their first rushing touchdowns of the season.
Quarterback Nathan Hanson completed just 2 passes, but 1 was a 65-yard touchdown throw to Declan Dudzinski.
Mauston led 6-0 at the end of the first half but then Ripon for 26, including 3 scoring drives.
The Tigers las win came at the end of the 2022 season against Waupun.
Ripon improves to 1-6 and 1-4 in the South Central while Mauston falls to 2-5 and 2-3 in the conference.
The Tigers travel to Nekoosa Friday night and then finish up the season at home against Wautoma.
