10/1/24 Ripon High School Announces 2024 Distinguished Alumni
1 October 2024 News
Ripon, WI – Ripon High School is proud to announce Corey Pollesch as the 2024
Distinguished Alumni Award winner.
Corey entered the workforce at his father’s construction company following his
graduation from Ripon High School in 1987. His thirst for knowledge and growth led him to
Moraine Park Technical School in Fond du Lac, where he received his Journeyman accreditation
in 1991. This education in the trades was the foundation for his success and the catalyst for
starting his own local construction business, Pollesch Construction in 1999.
Corey’s career has been a blend of entrepreneurship and servant leadership, all driven by
his belief in the importance of the trades. While using his entrepreneurial spirit to grow his
business, Corey uses his servant’s heart to strengthen the Ripon community and Ripon Area
School District with numerous endeavors. He mentored several local youth, encouraging them
to aspire for educational hands-on training in the trades, believing that the trades are the
foundation of the success of the Ripon community.
While growing his company, Corey started a non-profit organization that has given over
$200,000 to the Ripon and neighboring school districts. Corey’s service as a Ripon Kiwanian and
his role on the Oshkosh Foundation Board has further solidified his commitment to community
welfare. Over the years, Corey and his company have been a pillar of support for Trading
Treasures Community Food Pantry, assisting as needs arise, offering anonymous help to
families, and quietly blessing teens in need in our community.
Corey is not just a successful businessman but also spoken of as a man of integrity, a
loving husband, and a dedicated father. His mission to build up our neighborhoods while
establishing a family business is a testament to his character. Whether out in the community, at
local school sporting events, or in his office for a creative remodel, his passion for Ripon is
evident.
